As an entrepreneur becoming a cancer survivor was a reality check. Health is the real wealth without which not much else matters. Minimizing the time to finding a solution to a major health challenge is all someone experiencing one cares about.
Unfortunately, those developing solutions to health challenges are often don't need, or even often want, their own products or services and, without driver, naturally things take longer than they would if those in need were in charge.
I founded OpenCures to empower individuals to use the best science available to maintain and restore their health while at the same time creating a health technology development ecosystem that can provide solutions in the shortest possible period of time, giving all of us more healthy time to spend with those we love.
Waiting for others to do it for us isn't working.

We are actively looking for individuals or entities that want to contribute and help to build our vision of the optimized intervention development cycle.
Are you a research organization, health professional, laboratory, software or product engineer, volunteer or any other individual or organization moving in this space? Don't hesitate to reach out!
OpenCures operates through a hybrid legal framework that merges the strengths of both a for-benefit company and a non-profit organization. This dual approach enables us to leverage the advantages of each model, ensuring we efficiently pursue and achieve our mission.
Our Non-Profit entity focuses on accelerating the intervention development cycle. It actively fills essential gaps, whether in-house or through expanding our collaborative network. This component of our organization is dedicated to tasks that may not be directly profitable but are crucial for speeding up research and development processes.
Support our non-profit efforts to fast-track research and development in longevity science.
The For-Benefit side of OpenCures handles aspects of the cycle that have commercial viability and the potential for self-sustainability. This includes developing and scaling profitable ventures like biobanking services, software solutions for health professionals, researchers, and laboratories, as well as offering white-label products. Any profits generated beyond operational needs are reinvested into the non-profit to further support our mission.
